Delivery Information
Turnaround
All orders are processed and dispatched within 48 working hours, Monday – Friday 9am – 4pm. Please allow for an additional 2 to 5 working days for delivery. Outlying areas may require another day or two for delivery times.

Depending on your location & time of order, we choose one of the above for the optimum and speedy delivery time
Order Tracking
If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information.

Shipping Rates
Please use the pricing below as a guide only. Prices may change to which the customer is to pay in any differences before we ship any orders out. If the shipping exceeds the pricing below, the customer will be required to pay in any differences. Please note that outlying areas tend to increase shipping cost. Prices are on a per item basis – we will try to bundle up any orders to reduce shipping costs.
For any items, besides brake pads, please select “collection” during checkout – We will bundle all items together, work out your shipping cost and email it to you.
Spares Direct charges a flat rate delivery fee of R95, additional products will cost R15 extra. (Small items)

No orders will be shipped unless payment has been made in full for both the products and the shipment.
A 10% restocking fee will be charged on any orders that are cancelled/returned or refunded.
Additional Shipping Charges
Please note the following will incur additional charges:
Mines, Outlying areas, Hospitals, Tenders, Chain Stores, Plots, Farms etc. Prices may change to which the customer is to pay in any differences before we ship any orders out.
Back Orders
If an item goes on back order we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock. When the item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.
Stock Supplied
- Products are non-oem unless stated otherwise.
- No grilles, caps, stickers, emblems, coverings etc. are included with any products.
- No globes are included with any lights. Should free globes come with an item, we will not be held responsible should the globes be faulty. Use at own risk.
- Images are for reference only.
- Brake pads
Spares Direct SA does not always keep all brake pads in stock. Stock is kept at our warehouse or supplier thus having an additional 24-48 hour processing time on some orders. - Disclaimer: Please use the information provided as reference only. Information is based on non-upgraded cars. Please ensure that the diagrams on our website or supplied have been cross checked by you on your vehicle. We will not be responsible for any misinformed / different supplied products and/or brake pads.
Collections
Please note that not all stock is kept at our offices and may need to come from our warehouse. With this in mind, a 24 – 48 hour lead time is usually normal. Once your order is ready for collection, you will receive an email / Whatsapp from us.
Using your own courier service?
Not a problem! Please do notify us with the waybill number and appropriate information. We will gladly wrap your items up (Notify us 24 hours before booking your courier).
*We will not be held responsible should your items be damaged or go missing in transit by your own courier.
We will not be held liable for any time delays or additional charges.
Uncollected Orders
A 10% restocking fee will be charged on any orders that are cancelled/returned or refunded within 7 days.
Any items not collected after 7 days of notice of arrival and a refund is requested, will be solely at the discretion of the Management of Spares Direct SA. We have the right to decline any refund/return requests after 7 working days.
Please note: We only assume responsibility for up to 14 days for the item(s) left in our care. After 14 days, we will not be held responsible for any theft, fire or damages to the item.
After 60 days, we reserve the right to sell off any products to recover any costs involved. (A storage fee is applicable should goods not be collected)

Customer has 7 working days to return the item from date of order. A 25% handling fee / return fee will be charged for correctly supplied products.
We regret that no returns on special order items will be considered after 7 working days of notice that the items have arrived at our store.
*Please note: If the items are not collected and inspected within 7 working days of notice that the item has arrived at our store and the parts are incorrectly supplied, the handling fee of 25% will apply.
Refunds and Returns Information
How To Return An Item
Your item must be in its original unused condition to be returned, unless there is a manufacturer defect. You must return the item within 7 days of your purchase.

3. Include in your package a signed letter from the company who fitted your item stating the reason for your return and the original receipt.
Items not fitted by an RMI approved or specialist centers will not be considered for a refund.
Return Exceptions
Merchandise that has been worn, used, or altered will not be accepted for return or exchange. Please ensure original packaging is undamaged.
All body panels – Please note that all body panels are checked before leaving our premises. Due to the nature of these items, Spares Direct will not accept any returns or exchanges unless met with a valid reason. No exchanges, returns or refunds on items correctly supplied. Please ensure that any parts are pre-fitted and checked as we do not return any items which have been worked on or damaged.
Electrical items – There is no guarantee on any electrical items. Globes are not included. Should free globes come with any item, they are to be used at own risk. Spares Direct does not accept any responsibility for any electrical parts as we cannot guarantee how the electrical items have been handled or fitted. Spares Direct does not refund on any electrical items.
We also do not refund the original shipping and handling that you paid on the order.
Exchanges
If your item is in like new condition, you may exchange your item for a different size or model. You will not be subject to a restocking fee in this case, but you still will have to pay return shipping.
Special orders
Spares Direct SA will charge a 25% fee for any stock that was specially ordered for you and is returned. View more here
